My name is Katherine and I am the founder of Dream a Little Travel! It’s nice to “meet” you! Here are a few fun facts about myself and why I started my own business, specializing in romantic, adventure (including solo), and faith building travel.

I am an avid traveler and adventurer. The first half of my life was a bit uncommon as I grew up in the jungles of Papua New Guinea, where my parents worked, as U.S. citizens. Many of my most vivid childhood memories are of the many places we would travel, not just in the South Pacific, but throughout the world and the U.S. You know that saying “home is where the heart is”? Well, moving around so much, my home was certainly with my family and the places where we made memories together. These are the types of memories that I hope to help create for my clients.

I am an entrepreneur. I love to learn new things and to teach myself new skills (probably has something to do with learning how to teach myself with homeschool growing up). I value independence and the ability to follow my passions.

I am a problem solver and a people person. These two traits may come from opposite sides of the brain, but they are CRUCIAL in a business that requires an understanding of people and how to put together an itinerary that is custom-made for their needs and dreams (not to mention looking forward in order to prevent potential issues that are bound to happen).

I believe in Integrity and honesty. These days it is hard to know who to trust as everyone seems to be trying to take advantage of one another - even in the travel business, hidden fees and upcharged can sneakily find their way into your trip total - and that is why my business offers a transparent pricing policy that gives you a clear breakdown of not only what you’re paying, but what the agency is receiving as well. This helps foster financial accountability between us and our clients and provides (we hope) returning clientele!
